Thank You and Here We Go!; 3rd March 2014

We wanted to thank everyone for coming out to the Bury Met gig last Saturday - it was a great night and is the start of a new journey for us. We have had our ups and downs since the release of 'It Starts Again', however we feel we have a line up of great quality and the addition of a 4 piece horn section will add greater depth to the songs and live performances. Listen to John's latest Audio Boo here:

Keep checking back to the site with news of gigs, live recordings and video.

Reviews and Gigs; 1st May 2012

Hi everyone, it's been a while since the last update which was on the release of the album and it's launch! Thanks to those of you who got out to The Deaf Institute and made it such a special night. And thanks to everyone so far who has purchased a copy of the album.

The album has been really well received which has pleased us immensely and we have had two reviews in the last day which are well worth having a read of, by Manchester Music and by Resonant Passage.

We'll be playing a few gigs with more to be announced in the diary soon. This coming Friday (Jedi Day!?!) May 4th, we're playing the wonderful Crown of Lights night in Yorkshire at The Comrades Club. It's always a great night and well worth a visit if you're in that neck of the woods. Garron Frith, an excellent singer/songwriter, will be supporting us on the night. On Bank Holiday Monday we're then playing an acoustic set at Henry J Beans at The Printworks.

You can view all the upcoming gigs on the gigs page. So, if you haven't got a copy of the album yet, get one from the website, download it, or pop into Piccadilly Records who are currently stocking copies. Watch this space for more news in the coming weeks.

It Starts Again; 16th March 2012

Hope you're all happy and well out there. We have been incredibly busy getting the album together and planning the launch but we're finally there!

The album, 'It Starts Again,' was released this week and we are really pleased with it as was Bob Osborne who has completed the first review of the album which you can read here: Bob Osborne

We have also done the rounds on local radio stations and DJs have been incredibly supportive in playing the tracks from the album. Tony Thornborough featured the whole of the album minus two tracks last Sunday, all introduced by a very special guest, and you can hear the show here: Tony Thornborough

BBC Radio Manchester also made us artist of the week on Sunday and played tracks from the album.

So if you like what you have been hearing you can purchase the new CD on this website from the link in the right hand side or in the store. Alternatively you can download the album on iTunes or go to Piccadilly Records in Manchester and get yourself a copy.

Or you can come along to our gig on 17th March at The Deaf Institute and get yourself a copy of the album. Salford Online have been kind enough to post their recent interview with me at the Kings Arms which talks about our upcoming gig.

Radio Appearances; 28th February 2012

More news to follow but we have been appearing on radio stations playing acoustic numbers from the new album alongside the single. We went into BBC Radio Manchester on 19th February to play on Sam Walker's show and then went along to Salford City Radio on 27th February where we had a show and half with Tony Thornborough (I have never laughed on a show so much in all my life!) - you can listen to Tony's show again here: http://www.mixcloud.com/TonyThornborough/tonys-special-brew-with-guests-john-herring-and-john-miles/

John will also be appearing on All FM on Caroline Rennie's drivetime show on 29th February at 6pm and also on Manchester Radio Online on 12th March at 9pm on Danny Zupklo's show.

In addition we can confirm that the album will be available on 9th March at The King's Arms to purchase, complete with the new artwork along with tickets to the forthcoming gig at the Deaf Institute.
